Teen/Tween Mind Body Therapy Teens and tweens experience their emotions in their bodies as much as their minds. Teens and Tweens are not naturally inclined to sit in a chair and open up about what is troubling them. Mind Body Therapy is an effective way to heal, learn coping skills, resolve any issues of anxiety, depression, stress, poor body image, low self esteem, attention deficits, concentration issues and many other concerns without having an adult stare at them and ask questions. Yoga is integrated right into the session to resolve emotional issues where they feel them. The sessions consist of a custom yoga practice that allows the Tween/Teen to move, discuss, and resolve concerns and issues as they naturally unfold while practicing yoga postures, breathing and meditations exercises. Because all emotions are stored in our bodies, this process is efficient, effective and beneficial-and kind of fun 😊.
